The Noise Factory Moose 212 Custom Studio is an official Capture Master DynIR, inspired by – and captured from – a super vintage Elk® 2×12 outfitted with a pair of proprietary Elk® branded Drivers.

For those in the know, Elk® are a hidden gem in the wonderful world of mojo fuelled guitar sonics! Manufactured by the Japanese Miyuki®, their line of tone-tastic solutions were certainly inspired by the looks of the ever-popular Fender® amplifiers of the day – but under the hood the resultant circuits (and all-important tone) were really quite different! With this capture expect super tight-lows, punchy mids, subdued highs and a crunchy vibe when pushed – in short it’s a parallel-slant on 60’s-inspired Fender® sonics primed for everything from articulate cleans to full-throttle bluesy raunch!

Part of both The Lost Cabinets Volume 2 | BiSonic Collective and The Lost Cabinets Volume 2 | Studio Edition, the Moose 212 Custom Studio has been expertly captured by one of our longest-standing capture masters, Noise Factory. Combining primo outboard and a studio-inspired mic collection (Inclusive of a Neumann® U87, an AKG® C-414, a Sony® C38B, a Neumann® KM184, a Royer® R121, a Shure® SM7B, an Electro Voice® RE-20 and a Warm Audio® WA251), expect bonafide Grade-A sonics for any and all production-centric exploits.
