Noise Factory Luma 112 Shadow Studio

TRY IT

The Noise Factory Luma 112 Shadow Studio is an official Capture Master DynIR, inspired by – and captured from – a vintage Mesa® MKIII 1×12 outfitted with a Mesa Boogie® Black Shadow driver.

Nothing screams that classic Mesa® tone better than a Black Shadow / Celestion® Custom 90 speaker. Fusing a tight & controlled low-end, lashings of low mids, plenty of mid-range attack and a well rounded top-end, it’s everything you need to cut through any mix like butter. When fitted into a 1×12 Mesa® MKIII cabinet, you hear the full unadulterated Black Shadow sonics at its finest, all thanks to the enclosure’s highly-focused sonic projection and ‘punchy-by-nature’ specification. In short, if you’re in the market for a pint-sized tone machine that’s adaptable across a myriad of genres, this is one capture you can’t overlook!

Part of both The Lost Cabinets Volume 2 | BiSonic Collective and The Lost Cabinets Volume 2 | Studio Edition, the Luma 112 Shadow Studio has been expertly captured by one of our longest-standing capture masters, Noise Factory. Combining primo outboard and a studio-inspired mic collection (Inclusive of a Neumann® U87, an AKG® C-414, a Sony® C38B, a Neumann® KM184, a Royer® R121, a Shure® SM7B, an Electro Voice® RE-20 and a Warm Audio® WA251), expect bonafide Grade-A sonics for any and all production-centric exploits.

DynIR Capture made by Noise Factory from a Mesa Engineering® Inspired Mark III Guitar cabinet.
The capture was made on a 1x12 Open-back cabinet loaded with Celestion® 12" Black Shadow C90 speakers.
