JS Mars 412 Secret Sauce

TRY IT

The JS Mars 412 Secret Sauce is an official Artist-Series Capture from Simple Plan’s Jeff Stinco, inspired by – and captured from – Jeff’s studio mainstay Celestion® G12M-loaded Marshall® 4×12 cab.

Disclaimer: There’s something special about this capture; an air of “je ne sais quoi” we can’t quite put our finger on. When we were devising Jeff’s captures, he simply noted this cabinet as his “Secret Sauce”. Now we know why: it sits tightly in a mix; it elevates your tone above the rest when you need it; it’s brimming with sublime overtones in all the right places. In short, this cabinet is a must-have when you need a little something special to spice up your tonal mojo.

The G12M: It’s a go-to for players seeking a full-throttle chord tone that’s brimming with oodles of in-your-face punch – not to mention a sublime fizz-free scorching-hot lead tone. Packing a tight, controlled low-end with superb power handling and impeccable full-range definition, it’s a perfect companion for modern high gain amps. When fused with Jeff’s Marshall® 4×12 cab, expect super-powerful, larger-than-life sonics perfect for everything from drop-tuned means to sultry warm cleans.

Suffice to say, Jeff ain’t giving up his recipe, but with the JS Mars 412 Secret Sauce you’ve got a AAA-access taste of his prize-winning tone! Captured at MoonSun Studios in Laval, Quebec using pro-grade preamps, an exquisite selection of mics and Grade-A converters, this capture is primed as a Certified Classic from the get go!
