Don Broco Peggy 210 Custom

TRY IT

The Don Broco Peggy 210 Custom is an official capture from Don Broco’s Tom Doyle, inspired by – and captured from – an Ampeg® 2×10 cabinet outfitted with a pair of custom-designed Eminence® ceramic drivers.

When we rolled into Decoy Studios for the Don Broco capture session, Tom was steadfast in his resolve to capture this cabinet – listening to it in action, we can certainly see why. Put simply, this is classic Ampeg® tone incarnate. First up, there’s that iconic expansive bottom-end tone synonymous with this pillar in the bass tone annals. Add to this controlled highs – plus a mid-range that’s to die for – and it’s easy to see why this was a go-to for Tom during Don Broco’s recording stints at Decoy.

Is this our most quintessential Ampeg® capture to date? It might very well be! One thing’s for certain, if you’re serious about your bass tone, this is one capture that needs to sit pride of place in your DynIR arsenal!

The Don Broco Peggy 210 Custom is part of the new-for-2023 Don Broco Collection. Captured at the legendary Decoy Studios using a stellar studio-grade mic specification and exquisite recording peripherals, expect bonafide Grade A Studio sonics that are primed for all your studio and live exploits!
