There is no stopping Adam Steel at Hop Pole Studios! This time he’s bringing us the very “Best of British” cabinets for guitar and bass. This selection, which includes 6 guitar cabs and 1 for bass, highlights the classic British tone and includes captures inspired by rare Marshalls® and multiple hand-made Zillas®.

All 6 guitar cabinets have been captured with a selection of industry standard microphones including the AKG® 414 EB, Neumann® U87, Shure® SM7B, AKG® D112, Shure® SM57, EV® RE20, Sennheiser® MD421-U5 and an Extinct Audio Black Ops® Ribbon (filed as a Royer R121 for simplicity as they are extremely similar).

The bass cabinet has also been captured with a selection of industry standard microphones including the Neumann® U47 FET, Audix® D6, Electrovoice® RE20, AKG® D112, Shure® SM57, Shure® Beta52 ,Sennheiser® MD421-U5 and Extinct Audio Black Ops® Ribbon (again, filed as a Royer R121 for simplicity).

The entire DynIR collection was recorded through Camborne Audio® Camden or Drawmer 1960 preamps, and then through a BBC® AM713 line preamp and BBC® 9 band inductor EQs. As usual, everything went into an Audient® ASP880 interface.
