Celestion G12H Creamback 212 Closed

TRY IT

The Celestion® G12H Creamback 212 Closed is an official Celestion® DynIR captured from a pair of G12H Creamback drivers retrofitted in a closed-back 2×12 enclosure.

The late 60s saw the release of the infamous G12H. Embracing their inner frankenstein, Celestion® took the body of the iconic G12M and outfitted this with an H-type (heavy) magnet. The results? Power by the boat-load and shake-up the tonal characteristics of the source driver. With its robust bass response and a more pronounced top-end, it’s no wonder it was adopted by players seeking a distinctive edge for everything from blues-fuelled raunch to harder classic rock. This very same mantra was the spark that led to the current G12H-75 Creamback, where the ever-popular G12M-65 Creamback was modified to unleash a new breed of high-power, sonically-distinct driver. Expect unmistakeable G12H tone underpinned with a tight low-end, lashings of punch and a dynamic, articulate highs. Add to this pin-point focus, body and girth, and you’ve hit the jackpot when it comes to a larger-than-life driver perfect for searing leads and oversized rhythm tones alike. In short, it’s a tonal monster and a sure-fire guarantee for leviathan-grade sonics!

Does a wide sonic soundstage and plenty of low-end thump sound like what the doctor ordered? How about a healthy dose of unmatched clarity and primo articulation? Friends, you’re in the market for a primo 2×12 enclosure! With this closed based variant, expect boat-loads of driver compression resulting in the epitome of a tight low-end response, oodles of punch and definitive bite in your mid-range – a one-of-a-kind slant on the Creamback’s lush sonics to empower your performance with the unique edge you demand!
