Cabinet and microphones specs
A real Hidden Gem, unearthed by Big Hairy Guitar’s Michael Nielsen. The second of 3 DynIR virtual cabinets captured from a 412 cab bought at auction and previously owned and used by Steve Vai. This time, the same cabinet was retrofitted with speakers more common at the time – the G12H 30W – the sound that defined punchy guitar tone in the 80’s and a fitting precursor to the legendary V30.
DynIR Capture made by Big Hairy Guitars from a Marshall® Inspired 1960BV Guitar cabinet.
The capture was made on a 4x12 Closed-back cabinet loaded with Celestion® 12" G12H speakers.
