Supro® Supreme 1×10 Blackbird

TRY IT

The Supro® Supreme Blackbird 1×10 Alnico is an official DynIR from Supro®, captured from – and inspired by – a Supreme 1×10 Reissue open-back combo outfitted with a high-power Jensen® Blackbird 10“ AlNiCo speaker.

Supro® is one of the original rock & roll music brands. First manufactured in Chicago from 1935 to 1968, Supro® amplifiers and guitars are featured on landmark recordings by iconic artists such as Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and David Bowie. Revived in 2014, Supro® now offers a curated range of vintage-inspired tube amps and analog pedals that capture the legendary Supro® sound.

What can we say about Jensen®’s AlNiCo-powered Blackbird 10“ driver? It’s powerful. It pushes the epitome of an organic tonal response. It’s brimming with focused mids and crystalline highs. It’s renowned for vintage dynamic sensitivity, upper midrange attack and a tight bass foundation. In short, it’s primed for anything from a unique slant on an alt-rock onslaught to a sublime clean with boat-loads of character. Fitting this in the Supro® Supreme 1×10 enclosure is a match made in heaven – there’s cab resonance in all the right places and a super-focussed dispersion that guarantees to get the very best from the companion driver!

Available individually or as part of the “Supro® Boutique Collection”, the Supro® Supreme 1×10 Blackbird has been exquisitely captured at The Hit Factory using studio-grade mics and recording peripherals to deliver seamless adaptation from the studio to the stage.

DynIR Capture made by Supro from a Supro® Supreme Blackbird Guitar cabinet.
