Supro® Airwave 1×12 BD12

TRY IT

The Supro® Airwave 1×12 BD12 is an official DynIR from Supro®, captured from – and inspired by – an Airwave 1×12 semi-open-back Cabinet outfitted with a proprietary BD12 Driver.

Supro® is one of the original rock & roll music brands. First manufactured in Chicago from 1935 to 1968, Supro® amplifiers and guitars are featured on landmark recordings by iconic artists such as Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and David Bowie. Revived in 2014, Supro® now offers a curated range of vintage-inspired tube amps and analog pedals that capture the legendary Supro® sound.

Supro®’s BD12 is – put simply – a modern day marvel. Fusing all the harmonic complexity akin to vintage 60s drivers with lashings of headroom and boat-loads of mid-range bite, the result is the perfect blend of vintage warmth and punch. Pack this in a primo Airwave 1×12 enclosure and you’re set with oodles of detailed note articulation, all underpinned with a laser-focussed dispersion pattern – a sure-fire guarantee you experience the BD12 in all its might. In short, if you’re seeking your secret weapon in the all-important tone department, this capture delivers the proverbial goods in spades!

Available individually or as part of the “Supro® Modern Collection”, the Supro® Airwave 1×12 BD12 has been exquisitely captured at The Hit Factory using studio-grade mics and recording peripherals to deliver seamless adaptation from the studio to the stage.

DynIR Capture made by Supro from a Supro® Airwave Guitar cabinet.
The capture was made on a 1x12 Open-back cabinet loaded with Celestion Supro BD12 speakers.
