Romesh LumaGold 412 Vint

TRY IT

The Romesh LumaGold 412 Vint is an official Artist-Series Release from legendary Producer and Mix Engineer Romesh Dodangoda, inspired by – and captured from – a Mesa Engineering® 4×12 slant cabinet outfitted with a quartet of Celestion® Vintage 30’s.

Attention Tone Heads: If you’ve ever searched for definitive proof that not all cabs are created equal, this is it! When spec’ing up Romesh’s inaugural foray into the Two notes class-leading ecosystem, he was stead-fast that this cabinet was included – listening to it in action, we can certainly see why!

For players seeking a complex overtones, a warm low-end, an iconic vocal mid-range and crystalline buttery-smooth high’s, the legendary Vintage 30 is the undisputed final destination. Developed to cater for the exacting demands of the contemporary player, it’s been surgically tuned for considerable power handling capability and voiced to complement overdriven tones to perfection. Immediately identifiable via its vibey 3D crunch, the Vintage 30 is a mainstay on countless recordings from legends in the Guitar annals including the likes of Slash, Steve Stevens and Peter Frampton. When retrofitted into Romesh’s titanic Mesa® 4×12 slant enclosure, there is voodoo at play – there’s power, precision and exemplary dispersion that’s ripe for all your sonic exploits.

During the extensive capture process for the “Romesh Dodangoda | Studio Essentials” collection, Romesh painstakingly auditioned every speaker in his cabinet assemblage. The results are – put simply – palpable and a sure-fire guarantee that you’re primed with the Crème de la crème when it comes to studio grade guitar sonics. In the Romesh LumaGold 412 Vint DynIR the source cabinet’s top left speaker was selected as the go-to tone for this capture.

Part of the “Romesh Dodangoda | Studio Essentials” collection, the Romesh LumaGold 412 Vint has been captured with an exquisite selection of studio grade mics and a raft of primo recording peripherals at Longwave Studios. Enacted by Romesh himself, alongside our resident Capture Master (Adam Steel: Hop Pole Studios), expect the pinnacle in studio grade sonics engineered to deliver seamless adaptability from the studio to the stage.
