MII Bog 412 Monochrome

TRY IT

The MII Bog 412 Monochrome is a DynIR from MII, inspired by — and captured from — a Bogner® Über 4×12 cabinet, loaded with a Celestion® G12-75 and Celestion® Vintage 30 mounted in an X-pattern configuration, with the G12-75 as the primary mic’d driver.

The Bogner Über 4×12 is known for delivering modern high-gain authority with serious width and punch. It throws a wide, solid wall of sound, with a low end that stays tight under heavy gain and a midrange that hits hard without getting nasal. There’s real weight behind every note, but the cabinet stays controlled, keeping riffs clear and aggressive even when digging in.

The X-pattern pairing of the G12-75 and V30 gives this capture a focused but muscular character. With the G12-75 taking the lead, you get fast response, tight low end and aggressive mids, while the Vintage 30 adds density and bite around it. The result is a tone that stays punchy and defined, with enough midrange cut to sit forward in a mix without losing control when the gain’s pushed.

Officially Licensed LEWITT® Microphones

When it comes to modern high-gain guitar recording, LEWITT® microphones are a first — and final — destination. Trusted by engineers who work loud, LEWITT® microphones are synonymous with punch, detail and balance without compromise. Founded in 2009, LEWITT® has earned its reputation as a premium option for serious guitar tones.

The Crank It Up Volume II DynIR Cabinet Collection marks the first time officially licensed microphones have been featured, with captures driven by LEWITT®’s LCT 1040, LCT 441 FLEX and DTP 640 REX. When paired with guitar-recording mainstays inspired by Shure®, Royer®, Heil Sound® and Audix®, expect tight, aggressive, mix-ready mic options that stay solid when the gain’s up.

Available individually or as part of the “Crank It Up Volume II” DynIR Cabinet Collection, the MII Bog 412 Monochrome has been expertly captured to deliver seamless adaptation from the studio to the stage. Turn it up — the MII Bog 412 Monochrome hits precisely like a modern 4×12 should.
