JS Voice 212 1964

TRY IT

The JS Voice 212 1964 is an official Artist-Series Capture from Simple Plan’s Jeff Stinco, inspired by – and captured from – Jeff’s vintage 1964 Vox® AC30 loaded with original Celestion® T530 drivers.

You heard us right. Jeff’s AC30 was expertly captured with the highly sought after 60’s ‘vox blue’ speakers; the undisputed back-bone of quintessential Vox® tone and the aficionado’s “holy grail’ when it comes to sublime guitar sonics. These alnico magnet drivers are considerably less aggressive than their Greenback ceramic magnet counterparts, packing an exceptional response and well defined buttery-smooth high-end. Fuse this with a genuine 1964 AC30 cabinet – plus an exquisite mic selection – and the results are perfect for that one-of-a-kind clean ‘chime’ and super-smooth, full-range overdriven snarl.

Available as an individual DynIR and as part of the new-for-2022 “Jeff Stinco | Anthology” collection, the JS Voice 212 1964 has been expertly captured at MoonSun Studios in Laval, Quebec using pro-grade preamps, an exquisite selection of mics and Grade-A converters.

DynIR Capture made by Simple Plan from a Vox® Inspired AC-30 Guitare cabinet.
The capture was made on a 2x12 ouvert-back cabinet loaded with Celestion Silver Bell speakers.
