“The Two Notes is Amazing!
At age 8, Théo Silva was given his first guitar, a gift from his father. That’s when the first chords rang, coming from the influences of his brothers, also musicians, and his father, who had music as a hobby. He put together his first rock band, with friends from school, at age 11, when his passion for the electric guitar began, an instrument that seemed so bold and made such appealing sounds. From that moment on, he began to develop some “arranged” classes along with some more experienced friends. At age 16, he took the first steps of his musical career by staging professionally with local artists and bands. Since then, Théo Silva has been collecting major names on his curriculum, as well as important references of Brazilian and international music with whom he shared the stage and had great performances, such as: Margareth Menezes, Carlinhos Brown, Gilberto Gil, Roberto Mendes, Elba Ramalho, Zélia Duncan, Luiz Melodia, Sandra de Sá, Fernanda Abreu, Toni Garrido, Chico César, Dudu Nobre, Paula Lima, Alcione, Andreas Kisser, Xangai, Daniela Mercury, Saulo Fernandes, Kall Medrado, Enio e a Maloca, On The Floor, also including international artists like Portuguese Luís Represas, Cameroonian Blick Bassy, Cuban Mel Semé and African Mu Mbana. In January, 2014, Théo Silva recorded his first single and video “Ao som do (at the sound of) Ijexá”, music from a project he was invited to start, based on the foundations of Ijexá: Band Alphazimu. The band has already released a new single that was among the finalists of the Educadora da Bahia radio music award. Currently between shows and travels, Alphazimu prepares the recording of its first album. In early 2015, traveling between Brazil, Spain and Portugal, Théo Silva began the recording of his first EP “Acreditar” (Believe).
